Annual Induction Ceremony

In a State of more than 600,000 estimated veterans, 20 are expected to receive the highest honor awarded by the Arizona Governor for their contributions outside and/or after their military that provide inspiration to their fellow veterans and citizens of the State.
The Arizona Veterans Hall of Fame is sponsored by Unified Arizona Veterans and supported by the Arizona Department of Veterans’ Services and the Arizona Veterans’ Hall of Fame Society, with recognition by the Office of the Governor. It annually recognizes and honors Arizona veterans who have honorably served their country through military service and who have continued to serve and inspire their fellow man with deeds and accomplishments throughout their lifetime.
Since its inception in 2001, 164 Arizona veterans from all professions and branches of the service have been inducted to the Hall. 93 recipients are living today including five (5) Medal of Honor Recipients. Many of the Hall recipients will be in attendance on October 24, 2008 to welcome their colleagues and visit with the public.
The Arizona Veterans’ Hall of Fame Class of 2008 will honor the following:
